Emily is a Lead Planner at Facet, a CFP® and CExP™. In addition, Emily holds a graduate certificate in Financial Therapy from Kansas State University. Emily has 19 years of experience in the investment industry, including serving as a Senior Wealth Planner, manager of the Associate Wealth Planner Program, and Financial Planner with two firms for the past nine years. Emily has donated time and talent to pro bono financial planning initiatives serving those in critical need and is often asked to speak on financial wellness, financial therapy, the emotional aspects of money, and women and money in her community.

Who inspires you?
Seeing people who have enormous passion and are brave enough to act upon it.
What's your secret talent that no one knows about?
During my time working with children with special needs I was certified in nonviolent crisis intervention. I’m pretty good at deescalating stressful situations.
What is your favorite family tradition?
Midnight milkshakes on the drive to visit Colorado.
What's the coolest thing you're working on right now?
I am currently plotting my course to get the Certified Financial Therapist designation.
