Anders Skagerberg, CFP®
Client Success Team Lead
Anders describes himself as a personal finance nerd who loves to help people achieve financial independence by looking at the financial equation slightly differently. When Anders gets excited about something, he jumps all in! At age fourteen, he took a personal finance class at school. He then created his first budget and taught his parents all he had learned. He excitedly told them, “It’s not about how much you make, it’s about how much you save!”
Anders earned his Bachelors degree from the University of Utah in 2019 with an emphasis on financial planning. He is happily married and has four wonderful houseplants. He spends his free time rock climbing, gardening, skiing and snowboarding, and enjoys nonfiction personal development books. He also loves playing cards and board games with his wife. He volunteers with VITA; preparing tax returns for lower-income individuals and families. His goal is to help others realize that they create the world around them. “None of us are living some pre-determined life, but rather we each choose the life we will live. I think about this in terms of personal finances and the freedom that comes when clients achieve financial independence.”
