Carlos Ruiz

Carlos is a Lead Planner at Facet and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) professional. He brings over a decade of experience in financial services and is passionate about sharing the simplicity of financial planning and empowering others to create a healthy relationship with money. He has hosted community events on mastering cash flow, living debt-free, and saving for retirement. He is also a subject matter expert in student loan planning, and helps clients attack student loans strategically, without putting their life on the back burner.

Carlos serves in the Air Force Reserve and holds a special place in his heart for military families, having first-hand knowledge of the unique planning needs of service-members and veterans. He and his wife, Kitana, met early in their Air Force careers, and they continue to serve together today.

Carlos stays active in his free time and enjoys running, traveling, attending sporting events, taking pictures, and serving at his church. He and his wife welcomed their first child this year!
